Through this application process, thirteen staff members will be randomly selected to participate in a quarterly event titled “Breakfast with the Chancellor”. The event will give UCLA staff opportunities to meet and interact with the chancellor and vice versa. Supervisors of those selected to attend will be notified and are encouraged to grant sufficient release time for the breakfast, provided that the absence would not infringe upon the performance of required job duties.
Eligibility:
All staff members who have at least one year of service and currently hold career appointments may apply to attend the breakfast. Those classified as Senior Management Group are not eligible. To ensure that the maximum number may participate, those selected to attend may not apply again. However, those who have applied but not been selected may apply for future breakfasts.
