StayWell Demonstration

Date: Thursday, May 22, 2008
Time: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Location: Wilshire Center 10th CHR Training Room
StayWell Coordinator: Holly Scholl
Capacity: 70

Event Description:

Want to learn how to enhance your wellness with the click of a mouse? Come join us for a special StayWell demonstration. UC launched the StayWell benefits program in January as part of the expanded UC Living Well program. Eligible faculty and staff and their family members covered by most UC medical plans (Blue Cross Plus and PPO, CIGNA Choice Fund, Core and Health Net) can enjoy personal health-management benefits through participation in StayWell.

StayWell’s coordinator, Holly Scholl, will provide an overview of the StayWell website, including how to use the Action Plan, Health Tools and find articles that meet your wellness goals. She will also demonstrate how to complete a Health Assessment and take advantage of StayWell’s Health Centers, Family Centers and other wellness-related resources.

Time: 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm
Location: Harry and Yvonne Lenart Auditorium on the A-level of the Fowler Museum
Speakers: Vice Chancellor Steve Olsen and Assistant Vice Chancellor Keith Parker

Event Description:

We’ve all been following news about the worsening state budget situation and the serious fiscal implications for the University of California. To learn how the UC regents’ decisions on the UC budget will affect UCLA and what’s being done to advocate for the University in Sacramento, you won’t want to miss the important Town Hall meeting that Staff Assembly will present on May 29.

UCLA Vice Chancellor Steve Olsen of Finance, Budget and Capital Programs and Assistant Vice Chancellor Keith Parker of Government and Community Relations will be making brief remarks and then answering your questions on these vital issues.

The Town Hall will take place from noon to 1 p.m in the Harry and Yvonne Lenart Auditorium on the A-level of the Fowler Museum. You can enter directly from the outdoor amphitheater.

Please RSVP for the event at: http://www.ats.ucla.edu/cfapps/events/rsvp/RSVPNow.cfm?EveID=2526&SecID=2524
