Join Nurit Katz, Executive Officer of Facilities Management and Chief Sustainability Officer, for a journey under the first structure built at UCLA’s Westwood campus, including and an official peek into UCLA’s infamous utility tunnel system. Hear about UCLA’s early days, current innovations, and the future of energy and water at UCLA.
Please meet at the Flagpole (between Haines and Kaplan) promptly at noon. The talk will be held inside the tunnels and last approximately 30 minutes. Food/drinks are not allowed inside the tunnels, but you may bring your lunch for a picnic/Q&A session in Dickson Court following the talk.
