SUMMARY:Meet the Leaders: Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez
DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join Staff Assembly on Monday\, November 18\, 2024 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm\, for our in-person event\, Meet the Leaders Series\, an informal discussion with Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez\, Director of Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) Initiatives\, and 10 randomly selected staff members. The event will be hosted in Murphy Hall.  \nPlease complete this online application by 5:00 pm on Wednesday\, October 23\, 2024.  If your application is selected\, you will be notified by Friday\, November 1\, 2024. \nEligibility:  \n\nAll staff members who have at least one year of service and currently hold career or contract appointments may apply to attend the event. \n\n\nStaff classified as Senior Management Group are not eligible. \n\n\nStaff who have not attended this event in the past will be prioritized for consideration in the random selection process. \n\n\nTo ensure new staff members have the opportunity to participate\, we ask that you not apply if you have attended this event before — in person or virtually. However\, if you are not selected for this particular event\, you may reapply in the future. \n\nSupervisors are encouraged to grant invited employees sufficient release time to attend the event\, provided that the absence would not infringe upon the performance of required job duties. \nWe would like to thank Dr. Gonzalez for her continued support of Meet the Leaders which brings together employees from across campus to enjoy this special event.
