DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join Staff Assembly on Wednesday\, May 21\, 2025 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm\, for our virtual event\, Meet the Leaders Series! We will host a Zoom discussion with Lucy Avetisyan\, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at UCLA\, and 20 randomly selected staff members. Sign up now!   \nPlease complete this online application by 11:59 pm on Wednesday\, April 23\, 2025.  If you are selected\, you will be notified by Friday\, May 9\, 2024. \nEligibility:  \n\nAll staff members who have at least one year of service and currently hold career or contract appointments may apply to attend the event. \nStaff classified as Senior Management Group are not eligible. \nStaff who have not attended this event in the past will be prioritized for consideration in the random selection process. \nTo ensure new staff members have the opportunity to participate\, we ask that you not apply if you have attended this event before — in person or virtually. However\, if you are not selected for this particular event\, you may reapply in the future. \n\nSupervisors are encouraged to grant invited employees sufficient release time to attend the event\, provided that the absence would not infringe upon the performance of required job duties. \nWe would like to thank Lucy Avetisyan for her continued support of Meet the Leaders which brings together employees from across campus to enjoy this special event.
