Vice President, Wellness
Alea Orange, M.Ed. is a dedicated Student Affairs practitioner and educator committed to fostering student success and well-being. She earned her Master of Education in Student Affairs from UCLA and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.
Passionate about holistic wellness and its role in student development, Alea brings experience in college access, program and event planning, training facilitation, and student engagement.
Throughout her career, she has been committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that empower individuals and strengthen communities. She values collaboration and believes in cultivating environments that support personal growth, belonging, and lifelong learning.
As a trained wellness coach through Headspace, Alea is especially committed to promoting mental health, resilience, and sustainable well-being practices. She enjoys developing and leading trainings, facilitating workshops, and designing programs that encourage reflection, connection, and self-care. Her professional interests include wellness education, leadership development, community building, and fostering a culture of care across higher education.
Outside of work, Alea enjoys exploring wellness practices, spending time in nature, and connecting with family, friends, and community.
