Sylvia Lambrechts received her Bachelors in Science in Biology from the University of Southern California with an Honors minor in Biomedical Ethics. She completed her Master’s degrees in Public Health and Medical Sciences at Boston University. She began her post-graduate career at UCLA focusing on program development and management, as well as leading quality improvement initiatives. She has implemented and led various cross-departmental initiatives at UCLA Health focusing on improving the patient care experience and overall quality of care delivery. Her main interest is value-based care delivery which focuses on improving outcomes and the patient experience while also reducing health care costs. Currently, she is a Senior Program Manager in the Department of Medicine Quality Team and leads work in chronic disease management and COVID in the ambulatory space.
