Tiffany Lopes

Vice President, Strategic Communications

​Tiffany Lopes is the Vice President of Strategic Communications for the UCLA Staff Assembly Executive Board and the Director of Communications and Publications at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research (CHPR). In her role at CHPR, Tiffany leads all communications, marketing, and public relations efforts for the center and its California Health Interview Survey (CHIS), the largest state health survey in the nation.

Tiffany is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing internal and external communications strategies to effectively communicate the center’s mission, work, and impact. She oversees the production of all CHPR publications, events, media relations, marketing and branding, email communications, design, website content, and social media.

Before joining UCLA, Tiffany served as the content and editorial director at Pace University in New York, overseeing all publications in the university’s central marketing and communications office, including enrollment marketing materials and viewbooks, alumni magazines, enewsletters, digital content, social media, and internal and emergency communications.

Prior to working in higher education, she held roles at More magazine, Macmillan McGraw-Hill, and ABC News.

Tiffany has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Pennsylvania State University. She is also an alumna of the UC Women’s Initiative for Professional Development program.

In her free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog, Kenzo; fostering dogs with local rescues; going to concerts and comedy shows; and watching college football.
