Gabriel Mora has proudly served UCLA for more than 20 years with Facilities Management, where he supervises the Fire Alarm & Security Systems Shop. The team responsible for keeping the campus safe through fire alarm, security, access control, and surveillance systems.

Before joining UCLA, Gabriel spent over 15 years as a branch manager for a nationwide alarm company, managing large-scale installations and service operations across California. An electronic engineer by training, he brings a technical edge and problem-solving mindset to every project.

Outside of Facilities, Gabriel is the owner and lead photographer of VOX Photography, a wedding and event studio with 18+ years of experience capturing timeless images for clients across diverse cultures and traditions.

A proud graduate of the Staff Enrichment Program and UC People Management Series, Gabriel believes in continuous growth, teamwork, and mentorship. He’s also a self-proclaimed espresso addict, casual chess player, and known around the office for his quirky sense of humor and direct way of getting things done.

Known for his attention to detail, technical expertise, and creative drive, Gabriel brings both engineering precision and artistic vision to everything he does. As Vice President of Digital Engagement for UCLA Staff Assembly, he’s focused on strengthening communication, expanding UCLA’s digital reach, and building stronger connections among staff across all departments through digital storytelling, transparency, and collaboration.
