Katja Antoine
Chief Advocacy Officer
Katja Antoine is Chief Advocacy Officer for Staff Assembly and has been a UCLA staff member since 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from UCLA with a focus on race, gender, and performance. Katja is co-author of Human Sexuality: Biological, Psychological, and Cultural Perspectives, 2nd Edition (Routledge/Taylor & Francis, 2021); has published articles on race, gender, and entertainment; and has taught classes at the UCLA Department of Anthropology. Katja currently works as program and research developer for the Center for the Study of Women|Barbra Streisand Center. She is passionate about EDI and organizational culture and has worked as a consultant and speaker on these topics for non-profit organizations.
