Executive Board

Sean Brennan (He/Him) currently serves as the Health Member-at-Large with the UCLA Staff Assembly. He previously held the role of Vice President of Finance on the Staff Assembly Executive Board and chose to continue his involvement to advocate for staff during this challenging time. In his current position, Sean looks forward to engaging with campus leadership and diverse campus groups to ensure that staff interests remain a priority.

Sean is a proud UC alum, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara. While direct patient care and biomedical research didn’t align with his career goals, he was drawn to supporting these vital efforts. He began his UCLA journey in 2019 as a financial analyst in the Division of Hematology-Oncology, and now oversees the Post-Award Administration Team, which provides financial and administrative support for cancer research at UCLA.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys both listening to and playing music, and spending time at the beach— whether he’s surfing, SCUBA diving, or simply relaxing by the ocean.
