Executive Board

Valeria Montoya Ramirez (she/her) currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Communications for the UCLA Staff Assembly Executive Board (AY2025-2026). With her previous experience as the Vice President of Creative Production, she plans to continue advocating for visibility and inclusivity of staff in larger conversations across campus. Her goal is for staff that have a streamlined communication platform that is well-rounded in the information and content it provides for staff, while still being fun and engaging. By the end of the term, Valeria hopes that staff look forward to newsletters like it’s their favorite magazine or newspaper column.

Valeria is the Senior Multi-Fellowship Program Coordinator for the Departments of OBGYN, Urology, and Head and Neck Surgery, where she manages 19 ACGME-accredited and non-accredited fellowships. Valeria began working in Graduate Medical Education as an undergraduate student at UCLA, where she received her bachelor’s degree.

In her free time, Valeria enjoys going to the movies with her wife, reading, and playing video games.
